Autumn is well and truly here and with that comes a whole new way of dressing with an emphasis on coats, knits, nice shoes and great accessories. Being one of my favourite seasons, Autumn is also one of my favourite few months when it comes to fashion for the jumpers, the rich colours and the start of wrapping up in layers. With all that in mind, I thought it was only right that I put together a little moodboard of some of the piece I would love to be coveting this season.
The first thing I started with was the coat as I saw this coat in M&S the other day and instantly fell in love with it. The coat comes in Camel and Midnight but I prefer the darker hue personally, it is such a good length and as you can imagine from M&S this will be a quality piece that will last years. Navy coats and burgundy bags are one of my favourite combinations so I just had to go with it again here. This bag from New Look is one of my current favourites that is on my Autumn wishlist, I love the shape, the colour and the gold detailing and I think it would make a perfect bag for all occasions.
For the majority of the rest of the outfit, I headed to the ASOS site because as usual they have some amazing things in at the moment. The ditzy floral blouse with red shorts and grey knee length socks seems like a classic outfit combination with a good mix of smart and casual and just enough fun and colour from the ditzy print and shorts to make this a bit more interesting than a slightly more work based outfit. The chunky brown leather strapped watch with floral features from New Look via ASOS and the cats eye necklace from Topshop make lovely basic yet interesting and cute accessories. While the pork pie hat and the patent copper brogues, both from ASOS, add fun to this. I absolutely adore these brogues too and they are definitely another addition to this Autumn’s wishlist, just how amazing are they?!
So there we have it, my simple yet smart and fashionable outfit perfectly for the early Autumn days where the emphasis is on cute prints, great coats, rich colours and great accessories. What are the pieces you are loving this Autumn season?
