Here we are then, the final part of my travel bucketlist and this time I’ve gone further afield to the more dream destinations, places I would truly have to save up a lot for but would be totally worth it. All these places are in the Southern Hemisphere but opposite sides of the world from each other, although as long as I actually get to visit these places someday then that is all that matters.
Peru – Inca Trail
This is an addition that has long been on my bucketlist because for as long as I can remember I’ve wanted to discover the Inca Trail for myself and visit Machu Picchu. It honestly looks like one of the most amazing things you could ever hope to do and I can see why so many people do this year after year. I’ve never been a massive fan of treks but I would make a huge exception for this, it seems like a once in a lifetime thing to do and see and I truly believe that if I ever got the opportunity to do this it would be something that would stay with me for the rest of my life because it would be such a wonderful experience.
As much as I like Australia as a country and nation, I know that if I was ever lucky or rich enough to visit there then I would head straight for Sydney. I’d probably end up visiting Melbourne too but the main place I would like to visit, like pretty much everyone else I guess, is Sydney. The whole city just looks so amazing, full of culture and always so full of life. I’m a huge coffee addict and I think the quality of coffee in Australia is something I definitely need to check out for myself. Coffee aside there is plenty to see and do here and it really would be a perfect city to visit.
This really is total wishlist material but one day I would love to travel all the way around New Zealand and really take in everything from the big cities to the small towns, coasts and rural spots. I’ve been a little bit obsessed with New Zealand for a long time now and I think if I’m being truly honest it probably started with Lord of the Rings being set there. The whole country just looks so picturesque from waterfalls to coastlines and mountains. It really looks like the most stunning landscape in a country I’m completely intrigued by. I have so much love for New Zealand and I’m really making it my life mission to be able to at least visit there one day if not fulfil my dream of travelling round the country.
So that is it, my travel bucketlist summed up with the most important places I want to visit that I haven’t had the chance to already. If you missed my other two bucketlist posts then make sure you check them out: Part 1: Europe and Part 2: North America & Canada
