The above track, ‘Bukowski’, is their latest release and is an upbeat, rock fuelled track from the off with crashing cymbals, pounding drums and quickly strummed, melodic guitar chords. It has a mix of British rock grit and American catchy punk to this making it a song that will get stuck in your head all while having its own identity with the more aggressive vocals found littered throughout the harmonious voice that delivers most of the lyrics. A really outstanding track from the band’s debut LP.
Forming back in 2012, the quartet already have a pretty extensive and impressive back catalogue with 2013’s ‘Moving Home’ EP, their split EP with Departures and their debut album ‘I’ll Keep You In Mind, From Time To Time’ which charted at 45 in the US Heatseekers chart and rightly so as it is a great first album.
The band’s consistent output of raw, honest and well produced songs has seen them gain a core group of loyal fans that love the guys dearly. They recently went out on tour playing small venues around the country something which saw the band getting out and engaging with the people who love their music so much as well as showcasing their debut album.
After a session on the Radio 1 Rock Show recently and a huge amount of tour dates booked for this year taking in Europe, America, the K and plenty of festival slots, it seems like it is going to be another busy year for Mooseblood that should see the band becoming an even bigger name in the alternative and rock scenes in the UK right now.
