new music: Avec Sans – All Of Time

This week, I bring you some new music from London based duo Avec Sans. Alice Fox and Jack St. James have spent the last 18 months building a name for themselves within the electro-pop genre after the success of their last single ‘Shiver’. The sound the pair have emulated and been influenced by sees them mixing sophisticated 80’s pop with dreamlike vocals to create synth pop tracks with an ambient edge.

Above is the latest track from the pair called ‘All Of Time’ with ambient sounds, swirling and building synths all backing up the angelic and soaring vocals of Fox it makes for a dance fuelled song with a great vocal and some brilliant build ups. The pair have been compared to the likes of Chvrches which is clear to hear mainly from the similar vocal style but here from Avec Sans the music has a much bigger emphasis on house style beats and dancable rhythms than acts they have been compared to giving them that slightly different edge.

After remixing tracks such as ‘Hempigegia’ from Brooklyn’s Haerts to releasing their own tracks which have become favourites in the music blogger world as well as with the best of the music press from Popjustice to Digital Spy and The Line of Best Fit and travelling to Milan to play at shows as part of Milan’s Fashion Week, it seems like it is definitely a very good time to be in the Avec Sans camp.
