I am a huge fan of Marc Jacobs perfume, out of the 6 fragrances I own 5 of them are Marc Jacobs – Daisy, Lola, Dot, Honey and now Daisy Dream. I’d seen this beautiful bottle all over blogs recently with plenty reviewing it and saying the love the slightly more grown up yet still floral scent of this new take on the original Daisy.
I love the Daisy perfume but it is something I mainly only wear in spring/summer as it is so fresh and floral that for me it doesn’t really suit the deeper, muskier notes I long for in winter. With this new perfume however it is definitely something I could wear all year round because of the mix of floral heart notes – Jasmine, Lychee and Blue Wisteria, fruity top notes – Blackberry, Grapefruit and Pear and musky base notes of White Woods, Musks and Coconut Water. All that makes for a floral and fruity fragrance that is not too overpowering and much more refined than Daisy is.
As soon as it was launched I headed to my nearest Boots to check out the scent for myself and see if it measured up to all the hype that the beauty blogosphere had piled on it and let my say it really does. So much so that I instantly picked up a bottle for a myself and with such another cute [seriously how cute is it!] bottle to sit on my shelf and add to my collection, it was a nice little treat for me.
