Tropical Playsuit – New Look / Silver Croc Pumps – Primark / Brown Shoulder Bag – Primark / Gold Chain Necklace – H&M / Black Bowler Hat – H&M

As I enjoyed styling up one piece for day and night so much for the last two outfit posts I thought I would do another one of these for you all. That and I’ve been extremely busy at the moment so it saves me a little time that means I can continue to post outfits every week instead of having to stop as well so I guess it’s a win/win for us both.

This time, I chose my new tropical playsuit from New Look to style up. It’s a very recent purchase and I knew as soon as I got it that it would be featured on here as soon as possible as it will be a staple of my summer wardrobe for sure. I love playsuits but I’ve always found a lot of problems with the fit of them mainly because I’m really tall they end up being mega short on me which isn’t so bad for cold days when wearing tights but on warm days and specifically in the daytime it can be a little too revealing for what I’m comfortable with. This, however, is the perfect length covering everything perfectly and it is also the perfect fit, fitting well in all the right places which is a huge bonus. It’s comfy, the perfect fit and tropical print which I absolutely adore so for just over £20, it’s actually a bargain as it really will be worn to death, day and night.

For my daytime look, I styled it on it’s own [though I could easily add a denim jacket, blazer or kimono if it got a little chilly] with some more new purchases this time from Primark. I like to do a big shop in Primark every season to stock up on basics like cheap sandals, socks etc, things I don’t want to spend a lot on but I need. This time I bought the silver croc pumps which are amazing, I’ve seen these loads online but they were all around £20 or more, these were £6 and I’m loving Primark pumps at the moment, they are comfy and much more sturdy than they used to be. The bag is another new purchase, I was after a small bag that was big enough to fit in the everyday basics that I could use day and night and this easily fit the bill.

Finishing the quite casual look with a bowler hat to add a little bit of smartness to the playsuit/trainer combo and a simple gold chain that I wear a hell of a lot at the moment as it does go with everything. A simple but effective piece for a person like me who loves jewellery but usually completely forgets about adding it to an outfit.

Are you a fan of tropical prints? What do you think of this daytime look?
