Bow Crop Top – Drop Dead Clothing / Tiger Leggings – Drop Dead Clothing / Maroon Hat – Topshop / Acid Wash Denim Backpack – Primark / Red Pumps – Primark
As I’ve just bought a few new pieces on the Drop Dead sale I felt the need to showcase them on here straight away. Because of that I’m going to do something a little different for this and the next OOTD posts, I’m taking the same two Drop Dead pieces – the crop and the leggings – and styling them for a daytime look and a night time appropriate outfit. This one is my daytime look and is pretty casual which is how I dress at least 95% of the time so it’s a very accurate representation of what I wear on a daily basis anyway.
I love the loose fit of the crop and how that makes for instant comfort and perfect for the summertime and festival season, whereas the leggings are just perfect, they fit so well I’ve never bought a pair of leggings that fit as well as these. They are quite a shiny material though [I’m not sure if these pictures really capture that] so if you’re not a fan of shiny materials then maybe these aren’t for you but as I said they are a perfect fit, comfortable and perfect even for my tall legs.
I decided to team them with my red pumps from Primark which were a steal at £3, they are so comfy, the sole is quite sturdy for Primark actually and I’ve had so much wear out of them already. The backpack I bought last year from Primark and it’s one of my favourite things I own, I took it to London with me last year and it successfully held a load of stuff including my heavy SLR so it’s a pretty reliable thing. The hat is one of my favourite accessories at the moment so obviously I’d throw it on in the summer much more when there is less chance of me losing it due to wind or rain.
So that’s my daytime outfit featuring the Drop Dead crop and leggings and next week I’ll have the evening outfit [which I really love btw] up. Until then though, what do you think of my daytime look?
