Aztec Print Dress – Primark / Necklace – Primark / Bag – Vintage from Rome / Sandals – Primark / Bracelet – Topshop / Watch – Casio / Lipstick – Illamasqua Howl / Eyeshadow – Illamasqua Pigment Chasm
I wore this outfit last week for a meal with my friends from school, friends that I don’t see often enough due to work, uni, life in general so it’s always good when we do manage to all, or most of us, meet up for a good old catch up with some good food and plenty of drinks. I blogged the other day in my Primark Haul about how much I love this dress and that love has been reaffirmed after wearing it for the meal. I’ve never felt more comfortable in a dress in my life, it didn’t matter that I ate quite a lot because the dress had the right amount of stretch in it to not become tighter or uncomfortable after lots of yummy food. I styled it with some basic gold jewellery including my new Primark necklace, my favourite vintage buy ever the little brown bag from a lovely little vintage shop in Rome and my trusty summer favourites studded sandals from Primark. For my make up look I used one of my new purchases from Illamasqua that I got in their most recent sale the pigment ‘Chasm’ which I love, it’s a subtle green that almost reminds me of the sea and mermaid fairytales. The lipstick is also Illamasqua [can you tell it is fast becoming one of my favourite make up brands?] and is one of my favourites, a nice strong deep red and one that doesn’t smudge or fade all night however much you eat or drink.
We headed to Bungalows and Bears for our little catch up meal as Tuesday nights is 2 for 1 burgers and there burgers are so good! There are 3 veggie burgers which is so good for me as I usually have no burger options or just 1, I went for The Hippy burger which is a spinach and lentil patty style burger with houmous and salad on a bun and the fries are just the most amazing fries you will ever eat. Plus, you get plenty of food for your cash. Their dessert menu is really good too and they have plenty of drinks on offer with a good selection of spirits, ciders and a cocktail menu of some favourites and their twists on those classics. With it’s laid back atmosphere, good soundtrack, amazing food, good prices and cool decor it is easily one of my favourite bars in Sheffield.
