On Sunday, I made it to Birmingham for the Clothes Show. I’d been totally looking forward to this, I went two years ago when I was in sixth form and it was amazing. This time round I went with my mum, we had to get up at 4am to get into town for 7am. We got to Birmingham for around 10am and we had until 4pm to shop and watch the fashion show.
I planned my outfit in advance because I know from experience that at that early time in the morning I can not come up with a decent outfit choice. This is what I went for.
Outfit Info: Cardigan, skirt and top from H&M, tights from Dorothy Perkins, Doc Marten Boots from eBay.
We had around an hour to browse around before the show started and I bought a top then. The show was amazing and based on a movies theme and each different theme had a different style of fashion for the next seasons attached to it. The singing and dancing side of the performance was amazing as usual and most of the clothes modelled looked amazing as well.
The show was presented by Gok Wan from Friday to Sunday so Gok presented our show and as you know I love Gok so it made the show even better.
Here are a few pictures from the show:
I can’t put too many photos up as they are for my portfolio for uni. We spent the rest of the afternoon shopping in potentially the most stressful way ever. I bought quite a lot and I don’t even want to know how much I spent in all honesty. All in all, it was an amazing day out.
I will do another post in a couple of days about the items that I bought at the Clothes Show as well.
